This track is about a girl called Bethany Fortescue.
When Beth was 13 she got spotted at Party in the Park by a modeling agency.
They invited her to come into the agency and asked her if she would consider
modeling for them when she was 15.
I was interested in this story because the Agency had made a judgment
on who Beth was just by looking at her. Most of us at sometime or another
make a value judgment on people from the colour of their skin, hair, what
clothes they wear etc. God on the other hand looks deeper than your hair
or skin colour. He looks into the heart. This is the area of you that
God is interested in. As Christians, God changes us from the inside out.
God is more concerned about what you have in your heart than what you
are wearing on your feet.
Liz Hallam did another incredible job singing on this track. She was rather
shocked when she walked into the studio and asked "well where are
the lyrics?" and the reply was "there aren't any". So we
got together and wrote the lyrics in the studio.
